Oct 8th 2008 What Type of Window Blinds Match Iron Chandeliers?
Have you noticed how carefully people dress themselves? how they choose the pieces of their outfits in sucvh way that they match with each other? In the same way, why shouldn’t we match interior elements in our homes, in order to create a pleasant impression? For instance, if you are the classic type and you’ve chosen to light your house with iron chandeliers, how do you match them with the window treatments? Are you using vertical blinds, or mini blinds, or what? This is a question I’ve asked myself many times: how to choose interior design items and finishes in order to create harmony and comfort. I’m a big fan or wrought iron, but I don’t use it too much in my home, because my rooms are small, my ceilings are low, and the colors are shades of beige and pale yellow, while the furniture in in cherry,m combined with apple tree finishes. there is simply no place for iron in this equation, so I had to give up the idea. I only have two candle supports which are worked in wrought iron, and that’s all. My window blinds are modern, white, made of aluminum, so they are not a good match for iron chandeliers, if I were to use any. What do you think? How did you decorate your home?
